The three-entity setup signals stronger legal counsel than is typical at this tier. Most operators in this space run a single anonymous LLC behind a shell trust. The Medium reviewer's coherence threshold is the most useful published number. 4-character group chat sustains roughly 10-15 exchanges before personalities start to bleed. Beyond two characters, the quality drop is noticeable. Our editorial reading after running our own test: 2-character group chat is genuinely strong (think a scenario with two distinct partners holding voice across 15-20 turns), 3-4 characters works for narrative branching scenarios where the group dynamic is the point, and the 12-character claim is a soft upper bound producing degraded output that we don't endorse as a real capability.

The custom creator lets you define ethnicity, age (18+ enforced at character creation), appearance (height, body type, hair color/style, eye color, skin tone), backstory and occupation, personality archetype (40+ presets), voice (19 options), and kink tags (60-80+). Image regeneration on the same character without losing the custom identity works cleanly, which is a feature Candy.ai doesn't match. The art surface supports realistic and anime styles, with output described across 5+ reviewer sources as crisp and detailed with realistic lighting and consistent character appearance. The reported quirks are real: occasional "elf ears" anomaly on certain character archetypes, mild inconsistency between successive generations of the same character. How natural is the voice?

A 10-minute voice call costs roughly 500 DreamCoins (about $4-5 at the bulk-pack rate), which means casual experimentation gets expensive quickly. Three honesty caveats balance the structural strength.

First, the USC 2257 exemption is claimed, not proven. Second, the privacy policy doesn't name any third-party LLM, image-gen, voice, or video-gen processor. By contrast, Candy.ai discloses third-party LLM processing under data processing agreements. The unnamed-processor pattern makes GDPR Article 28 controller-processor accountability harder to verify. A meaningful compliance gap. One reviewer (companionguide) names Stable Diffusion 1.5 + Deepseek V3 as the inferred stack, but that's a single-source claim, not platform disclosure.

Third, retention windows are vague. The policy states personal data is held for "the time necessary for processing purposes" without specific period. I'd skip OurDream AI if voice nuance is critical to your use case. Voice scored 5.5/10 in our test and the 4-source convergence on "robotic" is honest.
