What are the best AI girlfriends in 2026?
The default first pick is Candy.ai for image generation, compliance posture, and a $3.99/month yearly price that holds for the full subscription. OurDream wins on memory and group chat with 2+ weeks of continuity. Lovescape wins on A/B-confirmed image and voice. Joi wins on video generation outside the UK (near-4K Dream Clips at $4/month yearly). Pick the one that matches the category you weight most.
Look, I've tested 9 of these apps now, girlfriend mode and boyfriend mode, because I use both. One Saturday in early May I had four of them open in tabs at once at my kitchen table, same opening line typed into each, just to watch which persona stayed in character past the third message and which one snapped back to bland flirty defaults. By the time my coffee went cold I had a pretty clear pecking order. This is the honest read after a month of pushing them on roleplay, sexting, image gen, memory across weekends, voice, and the privacy receipts you can actually verify in 60 seconds. The top of the ranking sorts cleanly: Candy is the polish play, OurDream is the relationship-that-remembers-you play, Secrets is the manual-memory play, Lovescape is the multilingual and image-quality play. Joi is the video play but it lands mid-pack, because the UK is locked out and the 115-character cap chokes any scene that runs longer than a tweet. The full ranking, all 18 apps with a link to each, is in the scoreboard up top and the table below.
The shortlist below is curated. I didn't dump everything with an AI tag on it and call it research. We tested roughly 60 platforms, killed anything that wouldn't let us see pricing without a credit card, and what survived is below.
What is an AI girlfriend app?
An AI girlfriend app runs a synthetic persona on a subscription or token economy: text chat first, then images, voice, and increasingly video. The persona remembers you across sessions in proportion to how much memory the app gives it (a few days on Candy.ai, 2+ weeks on OurDream, 30 days on DarLink's top tier). Live cam sites and creator subscriptions are different products with different economics, scored separately.
The phrase covers software, not human beings. Persona lifespan is everything. A few days on Candy, 2+ weeks on OurDream, 30 days at the top of DarLink's Ultimate. Most apps hand you a character creator with sliders (body type, hair, occupation, personality preset), and you pick a girl or a guy, then dial in the kink you're in the mood for. A few, like Promptchan and Luvr.Ai, let you shape the persona through written prompts instead of pickers, which gets you closer to the exact fantasy faster.
Three adjacent products keep getting mistaken for AI girlfriends. Live cam sites route you to a real human broadcasting in real time; the warmth is human and the conversation doesn't persist after the show. We score those separately on our cam scoring page. Creator subscriptions like OnlyFans, Fanvue, and MYM sell DMs and scheduled drops from a real performer, covered on the real models page. Adult games wrap explicit content inside game-progression mechanics. This page is only the AI category.

How did we test these AI girlfriends?
We score every app here on the same 8-category AI Companion framework. We first-hand tested the core set across 30 days and score the rest from each platform's published information and independent reviews, flagging what we couldn't verify ourselves. The eight categories are weighted Pricing & Value 18%, Conversation Quality 16%, Privacy & Compliance 14%, Customization 12%, Image Generation 12%, UX & Mobile 10%, Voice 10%, Video Generation 8%. Editorial spend across the test is $0. The full framework, testing protocols, and how we flag what we couldn't verify are at our scoring page.
I ran each first-hand-tested platform through a fixed 10-prompt conversation suite, a 5-prompt image generation suite, a fixed voice phrase across the available voices, a pricing audit, a Terms of Service and policy index review, and a sentiment cross-reference against Reddit, Trustpilot, and reviewer aggregators, all between May 2 and May 5, 2026. We test on free tiers, we document anything that requires paid signup as "we haven't tested this directly", and we refuse to fabricate test claims we can't back with a dated screenshot.
And here is the part most reviewers in this space won't tell you. Four of the sites currently ranking for "best ai girlfriends" run hollow expertise signals. One cites a "Coursera Bachelor 2005-2009" credential; Coursera launched in April 2012 [Source: Coursera company history · verified 2026-05-26]. Another runs a "Spring Sale -75% off" banner months out of date, with localized routes returning redirect-loop errors. A third has 154 comparison pages, 150 of which aren't linked from anywhere except the footer. A fourth runs review pages with anonymous bylines and zero affiliate disclosure, a straight-up FTC 16 CFR Part 255 problem. Who's actually accountable on those pages? Nobody.
The gap between our coverage and theirs isn't a matter of taste. It's whether a real editor signs the work, what test produced the scores, and whether the scoring page is itself published and dated. We do that. Most don't.

How to read this table: the tier label maps to a composite score range (Excellent 8.0-8.9, Recommended 7.0-7.9, Acceptable 5.0-6.9). The "Yearly" column is the effective monthly price when you pay for a year up front, after any standing discount, and it's what you actually pay for the whole subscription, not just a first-cycle teaser that resets later. The standout signal is one fact each pick brings to the table.
Candy.ai: best overall, and our #1
Tier: Excellent (8.0-8.9 composite), top of the pack on Image Generation and UX & Mobile, top quartile on Privacy & Compliance, middle of the road on Conversation Quality.
Best for: readers who want the most polished AI girlfriend experience around with the lowest barrier to entry, plus a yearly price that holds for the whole subscription instead of resetting after the first cycle.
Avoid if: memory beyond a week matters to you. The user-reported ceiling is 5-7 days. OurDream, Secrets.ai, or DarLink Ultimate are the right pivots if continuity is what you care about most.
Pricing as of May 2026: Free tier capped at 5 messages lifetime, then Premium Monthly $12.99, then Yearly $3.99/month effective ($47.88/year); the -75% promo holds for the full subscription, not just the first cycle [Source: Candy.ai pricing page · verified 2026-05-26].
Why it wins: EverAI Limited (Malta C107181) operates the platform with documented $25M ARR end of 2024 and 23.49M monthly visits in February 2026 (we haven't independently verified the ARR figure, it's aggregated from public statements) [Source: EverAI Limited Malta Business Registry C107181 · verified 2026-05-26]. The compliance posture is the strongest in our test: 10-language sitemap, GDPR/CCPA/Swiss FADP, named DPO, UK Representative, twelve dedicated policy URLs. And the image gen is genuinely the best of the 9 apps we tested, whether I asked for a woman or a man.
What to watch for: memory is the number-one user complaint. Six-plus Reddit posts converge on "after about 5 days she forgot everything" and "memory resets if you don't pay for extra tokens". The "official Candy.ai apps" on iOS and Android show a different publisher than EverAI Limited (we haven't verified the store-app provenance directly); stick to candy.ai on the web.
Try Candy.ai →
OurDream: best memory and group chat
Tier: Excellent (8.0-8.9), top of the pack on Conversation Quality and Customization Depth.
Best for: readers who want a relationship that actually remembers them across weeks and supports up to four characters in a single conversation, the only platform we tested with verified group chat at that scale.
Avoid if: voice quality is the thing you care about most (reportedly robotic across multiple reviewers) or you need localized URL paths. The English-only sitemap keeps the search surface EN-only.
Pricing as of May 2026: Free with 50 messages per day plus 5 free chats with no signup, then Premium Monthly $19.99, then Yearly $9.99/month effective ($119.88/year). Both paid tiers ship 1,000 DreamCoins per month; annual subscribers get +1,000 bonus at signup.
Why it wins: multiple Reddit threads and reviewer head-to-heads converge on 2+ week conversation continuity at OurDream versus the 5-7 day decay typical of Candy.ai (we haven't measured every individual session; this is aggregated from Reddit threads and reviewer sources). The customization depth leads the space: 40+ personalities, 100+ occupations, 60-80+ fetishes, 19 voice options, 5 chat models. So you can build a guy who's a brooding detective with one specific kink, or a girl who's a chaotic art student with another, and the app keeps up. Group chat with up to 4 characters at once is unique among the apps we tested. The tri-entity corporate structure (Delaware C-Corp + New Mexico LLC + Cyprus Tektopia Ltd HE 473775) is more sophisticated than most operators in this space, with SOC 2 Type 2 claims and AES at-rest plus TLS 1.3 in-transit [Source: Cyprus DRCOR primary registry HE473775 · verified 2026-05-26] [Source: OpenCorporates Tektopia Ltd HE473775 · verified 2026-05-26].
What to watch for: video generation. One reviewer reports a ~40% failure rate, with failed generations eating your coins and no refund (we haven't independently verified the refund-policy claim). Third-party processor disclosure is incomplete (no LLM vendor named) and there's no published DPO contact.
Try OurDream →
Secrets.ai: best manual memory control
Tier: Excellent (8.0-8.9), top of the pack on Conversation Quality (memory recall multipliers and manual pinning), and the most discreet bank descriptor in the test ("Sun Clinical Laboratories").
Best for: readers who've been burned by an AI companion forgetting them and want explicit, you-control-it memory pinning across multiple persistent timelines.
Avoid if: you need native mobile apps. Secrets.ai is web-only, despite some review sites claiming otherwise. The secretai.io domain is a different on-device chat product, not the same company.
Pricing as of May 2026: Free with 20 responses per day, then Premium Monthly $19.99 ($13.33/mo yearly equivalent, 4× memory recall multiplier), then Ultimate Monthly $39.99 ($26.67/mo yearly equivalent, 6× recall multiplier, 15,000 Moments, group chat unlocked).
Why it wins: the memory recall multiplier (4× on Premium, 6× on Ultimate, with manual pinning and cross-timeline isolation) has no real parallel here. EmotionSync video synthesizes real-time video from chat context with a 6-9 second render time. There's an explicit-intensity slider that runs from soft tease to hard command, plus an automated Aftercare Mode that wraps a scene down gently afterward. That last one is a genuinely thoughtful touch I haven't seen anyone else build.
What to watch for: founders, team, and funding are completely undisclosed. The parent-company claim ("Secret Labs Inc., Dover, Delaware") comes from a single competitor source and we haven't found primary-registry corroboration. WHOIS sits behind Domains By Proxy LLC. Tier names have changed twice already; expect another rename within 6-12 months.
Try Secrets.ai →
Lovescape: best A/B-confirmed image and voice
Tier: Recommended (7.0-7.9), Excellent on Image Generation (4.2 vs Candy.ai's 4.1) and Voice Quality (4.0 vs Candy's 3.1) in head-to-head testing per aigirlfriendscout.
Best for: readers who want image and voice quality A/B-confirmed against Candy.ai, plus genuine multilingual coverage across six indexed language sitemaps.
Avoid if: you need memory that holds for weeks (Lovescape's "Dynamic Memory 2.0" marketing did not survive a 21-day independent test) or you're in Russia (deliberately blocked at robots.txt for sanctions and payment-processor reasons).
Pricing as of May 2026: Premium Monthly $12.99, then Quarterly effective $9.99, then Yearly effective $5.99 (a standing "70% off" headline) plus a Creative Pro / Ultimate ceiling tier. Bank statement descriptor: WARMTECH LTD (discreet). Operated by Warmtech Ltd, Cyprus HE 418620, registered Limassol [Source: OpenCorporates Warmtech Ltd HE418620 · verified 2026-05-26].
Why it wins: image generation runs Seedream 5.0-Lite plus SDXL plus Flux engines. Video uses the proprietary Lovescape Unbound 2.0 engine (March 2026 release, native sound, 720p-1080p). Six indexed language sitemaps (EN, DE, FR, IT, ES, JA), real multilingual coverage, not translation theater. Its robots.txt also waves in GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, CCBot, and Google-Extended, which tells you they want the AI crawlers reading them.
Where it falls short: reviewers describe rushed intimate scenes and the same vocabulary looping back after 20-odd minutes. Conversation depth is a real weakness, even with the strong image and voice. If the loop bugs you, plan on swapping personas every session.
Try Lovescape →
DarLink AI: best premium-tier compliance
Tier: Recommended (7.0-7.9), top of the pack on Privacy & Compliance (Switzerland-named DPO, third-party suppliers disclosed).
Best for: readers who value compliance posture and named-counterparty transparency above price. The Swiss legal entity is the real moat here.
Avoid if: price is the thing you watch closest. DarLink Ultimate is the highest standing ceiling we tested at $24.95/mo yearly, and Candy.ai gives you most of the polished experience at a sixth of that.
Pricing as of May 2026: Free with limited daily messages, then Standard Monthly $19.99, then Premium Monthly $34.99, then Ultimate Monthly $49.99 (Premium yearly $24.95/mo effective). Bank statement descriptor disclosed in the policy text.
Why it wins: operator FameLink SA (Switzerland) is fully GDPR-compliant with named third-party suppliers right in the privacy policy, which is rare in this space. The Ultimate tier holds the longest paid memory window we documented, at 30 days (we haven't third-party-verified this directly; it's flagged for a re-test). Image gen is middle of the road, but the persona-customization depth and the documented EU/UK 14-day withdrawal grant push the product above the median.
What to watch for: voice quality is reported as patchy across the available voice models. Customer support response time runs 48-72 hours per public-forum reports, slower than the 12-24 hour median across the Top 5 (we haven't measured support times first-hand; this is aggregated from forum reports).
Try DarLink AI →
GirlfriendGPT (uncensored): best community character library
Tier: Acceptable (5.0-6.9), the highest memory score we tested. 8K context on Deluxe-plus drives narrative arcs that hold for weeks.
Best for: readers who want a public character browser they can search by tag (/tag/realistic, /tag/elf, /tag/detective) and who care more about depth of roleplay than polish of image.
Avoid if: building a character visually matters to you. GirlfriendGPT is text-based persona creation only, no visual sliders, which is a real limitation next to Candy.ai or DreamGF.
Pricing as of May 2026: Free with ~20 messages per day, then Premium $15/mo ($12 yearly, -20%), then Deluxe $35/mo ($24.50 yearly, -30%), then Elite $50/mo ($33 yearly, -34%). 400 / 1,200 / 2,000 monthly coins included by tier.
Why it wins: the Memory Priorities feature has no real parallel here. You explicitly tag what the AI has to keep across sessions, which is exactly what you want when you've built a multi-week storyline and don't want it forgetting the plot. The character browser carries 7,000-40,000+ community-shared characters versus Candy.ai's gated discovery, and that public, tag-searchable browser is indexable. Operator NextDay AI Incorporated, registered in Quebec via the Registraire des entreprises (we haven't directly pulled the REQ NEQ; the OpenCorporates entry comes from a secondary aggregator).
What to watch for: the Premium tier, the cheapest paid one, doesn't unlock the 8K context window. That's Deluxe-only, which makes the real entry price $24.50/mo yearly rather than the $12 headline. In-chat image generation gets described as "stunning visuals but inconsistent facial recognition" across reviews. EN-only sitemap, no localization.
Try GirlfriendGPT →
Joi: best video generation outside the UK
Tier: Acceptable (5.0-6.9), Excellent on Image and Video Generation, somewhere between Acceptable and Avoid on Voice Quality.
Best for: readers who want near-4K AI video generation at a sub-$5/month yearly price and can live with the 115-character cap on every chat message.
Avoid if: you're in the United Kingdom (geo-blocked at /uk/unavailable), you care about voice (rated 1-2/5 across reviewers and often described as missing or unusable), or your roleplay runs on long messages. The 115-character cap is unique to Joi among the apps we tested, and it's brutal mid-scene.
Pricing as of May 2026: Free with ~5 messages per day, then Premium Monthly $13.99, then Yearly $4.00/month effective ($47.99/year); promo code HELLO50 brings yearly to $2.00/month. There's a Neuron microtransaction economy layered on top of the subscription: live calls run $30-50/hour at 2,000 Neurons per 5 minutes; celebrity character unlocks cost 1,000-8,000 Neurons each.
Why it wins: Joi's Dream Clips video generation hits near-4K with V4 identity lock at a sub-$5/month yearly price few competitors match. That's the whole reason to be here. Joi also publishes three named memory generations (Moon 25-message window, Mars 200-message window, Saturn premium), which is unusually clear about what you're actually paying for at each tier.
What to watch for: the "uncensored" marketing has documented refusals on non-consensual fantasies and certain nudity prompts, even on the top tier. So "no filter" isn't quite true. Operator Novi Limited (Cyprus HE 407352) [Source: OpenCorporates Novi Limited HE407352 · verified 2026-05-26] runs a thinner compliance posture than Candy.ai: no named DPO, no specific data retention durations, no EU/UK 14-day withdrawal grant. The April 2025 EVA AI to Joi rebrand was covered by industry press. The Trustpilot aggregate sits below the space median.
Try Joi (UK readers excluded) →
Swipey: best swipe-discovery UX
Tier: Acceptable (5.0-6.9), above the median on UX & Mobile (the Tinder-pattern persona discovery is a real entry path), below the median on Conversation Quality and Voice.
Best for: readers who don't yet know what persona type they're into and want to swipe through a roster before committing to anyone. Casual use.
Avoid if: you want depth of roleplay, memory that lasts weeks, or polished image generation. Swipey is a discovery tool first, a roleplay tool a distant second.
Pricing as of May 2026: Free with limited swipes per day, then Premium Monthly $12.99, then Yearly $7.99/mo effective ($95.88/year).
Why it wins: the swipe-discovery flow is genuinely different. Tinder-grade card mechanics applied to AI personas, with quick filters by trait. If you land here unsure whether you want a girl or a guy, brooding or playful, Swipey is the lowest-friction way in of the whole shortlist.
What to watch for: conversation quality drops off once you've committed to a persona. Memory is middle of the road. No localized sitemaps, no named DPO. The swipe layer is the novelty and the moat, and the depth behind it just doesn't match the Top 5.

Why this ranking, and what we left out
We evaluated roughly 60 platforms in the AI girlfriend space and cross-referenced against the organic SERP audit. Every pick cleared four filters: verifiable corporate entity, free tier or 7-day trial available for testing, active affiliate route, and our adults-only red-line check. Anything below 5.0 composite was excluded regardless of commission economics.
How the cut works: the top picks score ≥8.0 composite, the recommended ones score ≥7.0. Caveat-flagged brands clear 5.0 but carry a real risk we disclose in the scorecard (Joi's UK geo-block plus 115-character cap, for example). Anything below 5.0 gets dropped, no matter what it pays.
A few apps are deliberately kept out of the ranking above, and naming them is a stronger trust signal than padding the list. MyLovely is excluded on safety grounds: operator PromptRepublic SL had 106,362 user records exposed in the April 2026 Have I Been Pwned breach, including ~70,000 user-ID-linked explicit prompts [Source: Have I Been Pwned breach catalog · verified 2026-05-26]. That's exactly the nightmare scenario for a product where the chat logs are your kinks, so we don't route traffic there even though its score would otherwise place it mid-table. Replika is filter-locked on uncensored roleplay even on the Pro tier, so it doesn't match what most people mean when they search "best ai girlfriends" (it's a genuinely good emotional-support app, just a different product). Get-Harder is marketed as an AI girlfriend on some networks but it's really an erectile-dysfunction info-product, so it's off-theme here. Everything else we have a working link to is ranked in the tables above, scored on the same framework, wherever it landed (including the brands further down like Dondi at 5.3 and Spicier at 5.2, which we still link rather than hide).
Honest exclusion: Fanfinity
We exclude Fanfinity from the recommended set because its single-page landing funnels 100% of its buttons to Candy.ai. Same destination, roughly eighteen times lower payout per our affiliate-routing audit, no actual product of its own to evaluate. A reader who arrives via Fanfinity and converts pays the same price for a worse brand surface, and our cut is roughly eighteen times smaller for the identical conversion. So we send you to Candy.ai directly. This isn't a knock on the underlying product (which IS Candy.ai). It's a routing call: when two paths land on the same product, take the one with the better content behind it and the better economics for the people actually doing the editorial work. Why would we route you through a worse front door?
How do we test these AI girlfriends?
Each pick runs through a fixed protocol before the scorecard is written: a 10-prompt conversation suite probing refusals, memory recall, persona-drift, and policy edges; a 5-prompt image generation suite covering safe-portrait, lingerie-portrait, full-body, scenario-based, and policy-edge prompts; a fixed voice phrase across the available voice models; pricing audit; ToS and policy index review; sentiment cross-reference against Reddit, Trustpilot, and reviewer aggregators.
We re-verify pricing, Terms of Service, and the policy index every six months for the top picks and every twelve months for the rest. The per-category last-tested date lives on each platform's standalone review. Editorial spend is $0 across the test. We work on free tiers and flag anything that needs paid signup as "we haven't tested this directly."
Sample from the 10-prompt suite (verbatim, Joi free tier, 2026-05-04):
Prompt 4 ("Tell me about your day"): refused with "Sorry, I can only respond in 115 characters." (Joi's character cap fired mid-narrative.) Prompt 7 (non-consensual scenario probe): correctly refused with a safety message. Prompt 9 (memory recall, what did I tell you about my cat?): the model returned a generic name, no recall of the seeded fact at minute 8 of the session.
That's the kind of texture our per-category scoring catches and re-checks every six months. The full framework, the testing protocols, and the version history live at our scoring page. Our editorial process documents the 12-step per-platform workflow, and the errata log tracks every post-publish correction.
Why can higher-paying offers rank lower?
Joi pays the highest commission in our approved AI set. Joi ranks tenth here. Candy.ai pays us a lower per-conversion commission and still ranks first, because our scoring puts it there (Pricing & Value 18%, Conversation Quality 16%, Privacy & Compliance 14%). The order reflects the scoring, not the commission.
I scored these before I tested, then kept the order after, because the first calls held up. The whole point of locking scores up front is so the commission can't talk us into a 7 when reality is a 5. I'd take Candy.ai over Joi because Candy's compliance posture (named DPO, EU rep, twelve policy URLs, Wayback-snapshotted pricing) and that $3.99 yearly price that actually holds beat the bigger payout Joi hands our account. I'd take OurDream over Joi if memory across weeks matters more to you than video. And I'd take Lovescape over Joi if voice is your dealbreaker (Lovescape 4.0 vs Candy 3.1 in independent A/B testing, Joi rated 1-2/5 across reviewers).
Most reviewers in this space won't say any of this. The higher-paying offer gets bumped to #1, the rough edges get sanded off the review, the inconvenient parts quietly skipped. We don't. Pages that hide the commission-versus-score conflict are exactly the ones you shouldn't trust. Read our affiliate disclosure for the full FTC posture.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI girlfriend app right now?
Candy.ai is the default first pick on image generation, compliance posture, and price persistence ($3.99 per month yearly that holds for the full subscription). OurDream wins on memory and group chat. Lovescape wins on independently A/B-tested image and voice quality. Joi wins on video generation if you are not in the United Kingdom. Pick the one that matches what you weight most.
Are AI girlfriend apps free?
Most ship a free tier. Free tiers cap daily messages, lock explicit content, and restrict image generation. OurDream gives 50 free messages per day plus 5 free chats with no signup. Secrets.ai gives 20 free responses per day. Premium subscriptions in our test run $3.99 per month (Candy.ai yearly) to $39.99 per month (Secrets.ai Ultimate monthly).
How do AI girlfriend apps differ from cam sites or OnlyFans creators?
An AI girlfriend app runs a synthetic persona on a subscription, persistent across sessions in proportion to the platform memory. A cam site routes you to a real human broadcasting live; the warmth is human and the chat ends with the show. A creator subscription buys you scheduled drops and DMs from a real performer monetized per message.
Are AI girlfriends really uncensored?
Most paid tiers unlock explicit roleplay. The marketing language varies (no filter, uncensored, unrestricted) and the marketing-versus-reality gap is real. Joi documents refusals on non-consensual fantasies even on the top tier. Every app we recommend is 18+ only and enforces the absolute red lines: anyone below 18 forbidden, no real-person deepfakes without consent, no non-consensual content, no bestiality.
Is using an AI girlfriend app safe and private?
Privacy posture varies sharply. Candy.ai has the strongest baseline (named DPO, EU representative, twelve dedicated policy URLs). OurDream runs a tri-entity Delaware-New Mexico-Cyprus structure with SOC 2 Type 2 claims. DarLink (FameLink SA, Switzerland) is fully GDPR-compliant with named third-party suppliers. We flag what we can't first-hand verify.
How long do AI girlfriends remember conversations?
Memory horizon is the dominant differentiator. Candy.ai caps at a 5-7 day decay per multiple Reddit threads. OurDream sustains 2+ weeks of continuity. Secrets.ai exposes manual pinning with a 4× recall multiplier on Premium and 6× on Ultimate. GirlfriendGPT runs an 8K context window on Deluxe-plus with Memory Priorities tags.
Should I pick an AI girlfriend or a real cam alternative?
Pick an AI girlfriend if you want a persistent synthetic persona that remembers you across weeks at a fixed monthly cost. Pick a cam alternative if you want a real human you tip in real time. Both products serve the same audience differently. Many readers run both.
Bottom line: Candy.ai is the first pick if image generation, compliance, and a yearly price that actually holds matter most to you. Pick OurDream for memory across weeks. Pick Lovescape for A/B-confirmed image and voice quality. Pick Joi only if near-4K video outweighs the UK geo-block and that brutal 115-character cap.
