AiGirlfriends AI Review 2026: 5.3/10, Free Start, No Refunds
AiGirlfriends AI review 2026: 5.3/10. Free to start with no card, $5.91 a month on the yearly plan, a $240 a year renewal and no refunds.
A note from the editor: bestgirlfriend.ai is paid a commission when a reader who arrives through this page buys from AiGirlfriends.ai, and none of the eight scores below was moved by it. AiGirlfriends.ai publishes no terms for its affiliate programme, so no rate is quoted here. I opened an account on credits AiGirlfriends.ai provides for testing and gave the app a short trial on them; the 5.3 is built from AiGirlfriends.ai's public pages and from what other testers have published. The rest is in our affiliate disclosure.

Is AiGirlfriends.ai worth it?
AiGirlfriends.ai is worth a free start and, if you pay, one month. bestgirlfriend.ai scores AiGirlfriends.ai 5.3 out of 10: a long feature list and a free start with no card, against a $240 a year renewal, no refunds beyond a billing error, and a privacy and compliance score of 3.0.
I came at it with the dullest question in this category and the one that costs the most when you skip it: what does the yearly plan take from a card?
The plan card says $5.91 a month. A sentence under the cards says that once the introductory discount ends, the subscription renews at "the full price of $240.00 per 1 year" [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai subscriptions page, plans and renewal line]. That part is at least written down. The search-engine data of the same page lists $120.45 for the annual plan, and nothing on the page explains that one, so this AiGirlfriends AI review starts with the money.
Several of the outside pages that praise AiGirlfriends.ai quote ten dollars a month, one of them with no tiers and everything included. AiGirlfriends.ai's own subscriptions page sells three plans at introductory prices and a 100-token allowance. Reviewers who live on commissions have a reason not to open the fine print. I'm one of them, so here's the fine print.
What is AiGirlfriends.ai, and who runs it?
AiGirlfriends.ai, written AIGirlfriends.ai on its own pages and found at aigirlfriends.ai, is an adult AI companion platform with chat, images, video, voice calls and a character creator, run in a web browser. AiGirlfriends.ai names Ai Horizon Inc., of Staten Island, New York, as its operator and publishes no registration number.
AiGirlfriends.ai's About page gives Ai Horizon Inc. a street address in Staten Island, and the footer and the search-engine data repeat it [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai About page, operator and company details]. That already beats the apps hiding behind a brand name. What's missing is the next layer: no registration number, no state of incorporation, no registered agent. The terms pick "the laws of the United States of America" without picking a state, and send disputes to mediation or arbitration [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai terms and conditions, governing law]. Nothing on the site lets you look the company up, so the New York Department of State's business search is where I'd check it before signing anything.
You can write to AiGirlfriends.ai, though. Its contact page gives email addresses on the aigirlfriends.ai domain and says replies usually come within 24 to 48 hours, and there's a written complaints procedure with deadlines: an acknowledgement within 24 hours, an outcome within five business days, a ruling on appeal within 14 business days [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai complaints policy]. For an operator this opaque about its own registration, that's more process than I expected.
Is AiGirlfriends.ai really the largest AI girlfriend platform?
Not on any evidence outside AiGirlfriends.ai's own pages. AiGirlfriends.ai claims to be the largest AI girlfriend platform, with 800+ characters, 30+ categories and 1M+ conversations started, and bestgirlfriend.ai found no audit of those figures. AiGirlfriends.ai's sitemap lists several hundred character pages, which fits the 800+ in order of magnitude.
AiGirlfriends.ai's homepage gives its own reason for the crown in eight words: "The largest, the most refined, the most loved" [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai homepage, size claims]. The counters are higher up, under the headline that already calls it the largest: 800+ characters, 30+ categories, 17,000+ posts in the daily feed. AiGirlfriends.ai's sitemap lists several hundred character pages, so the 800+ is at least the right order of magnitude. The other counters are AiGirlfriends.ai's to prove.
Further down, AiGirlfriends.ai's homepage runs a strip of press quotes subtitled "Verified press coverage". I read what I could of the pages behind them. One the homepage links to carries no author, only a newswire-style byline, and reads like an announcement, and a ranking on the same site puts AiGirlfriends.ai first of ten. Nothing proves anyone paid for those articles. A brand that republishes the praise and stamps it "verified" is still showing you its own highlight reel. AiGirlfriends.ai's blog also publishes a monthly market report with user and revenue figures, presented as first-hand data, and the excerpt I read shows no method. I treated all of it as marketing.

How much does AiGirlfriends.ai cost?
AiGirlfriends.ai shows $5.91 a month on the yearly plan, $9.99 a month on the quarterly plan and $12.99 for one month, each as an introductory discount. The renewal line says $240.00 per year on the yearly plan. The search-engine data of AiGirlfriends.ai's subscriptions page lists other totals, so the public pages don't settle what a plan debits.
AiGirlfriends.ai's subscriptions page shows three plans, each with a struck-through list price and a discount banner [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai subscriptions page].
| Plan | Displayed | Search-engine data | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yearly | $5.91/mo, struck from $19.73 | $120.45 | Tagged most popular, 85% off |
| Quarterly | $9.99/mo, struck from $30.00 | $44.10 | 75% off |
| Monthly | $12.99, struck from $40.00 | $19.80 | 68% off |
| Renewal line | $240.00 per year | Not listed there | One sentence under the plans, quoted below |
The yearly plan carries the biggest banner. The small print under the cards says that when the introductory discount ends, the subscription renews at "the full price of $240.00 per 1 year", and the card keeps getting charged until you cancel. $240 a year is $20 a month, and one outside review says the checkout shows the monthly plan renewing at $20 a month, while the monthly card on the same page is struck from $40.00. The renewal sentence names no plan, but the plan selector on the same page rewrites it for the plan you pick: $240.00 per year on the yearly plan, the one selected when the page opens, $90.00 per three months on the quarterly and $40.00 per month on the monthly. That monthly figure isn't the outside review's $20, and the public pages don't settle what a card is charged.
The same search-engine data gives the quarterly and monthly plans totals of $44.10 and $19.80, and neither matches a displayed rate.
Every AiGirlfriends.ai plan includes the same things: unlimited texts and pre-made images, voice calling, voice messages, access to the adult feed, and 100 tokens a month, refilled automatically, for creating characters and generating images and video. No AiGirlfriends.ai page lists a price for buying more tokens. The image generator page promises unlimited images on top-tier plans, a tier the subscriptions page never shows. The character creator page says premium plans start from $12.99 a month, which doesn't match the $5.91 on the subscriptions page. The homepage also promises discreet billing that won't show "AI girlfriend" on a bank statement, while the payment line says the charge will be shown as aigirlfriends.ai. Those two sentences sit awkwardly together (the domain has girlfriends right in it).
Is AiGirlfriends.ai free?
To start, yes. AiGirlfriends.ai says creating your character is free, that you can explore and start chatting without entering payment details, and that no card is needed to begin [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai character creator page, free start]. Free accounts get a limited number of image credits, and no AiGirlfriends.ai page gives that number or a message limit for the free tier. AiGirlfriends.ai describes premium as what unlocks unlimited messaging, images, real-time calls and voice messages, and leaves you to bump into the free limits yourself. If a free tier is all you're after, start with the free AI girlfriend apps on our list.
Can you cancel AiGirlfriends.ai and get a refund?
AiGirlfriends.ai puts the cancel option in account settings; cancelling stops future renewals, and paid features stay on until the current billing cycle ends. AiGirlfriends.ai's refund policy says all payments are non-refundable, trial, discounted and promotional subscriptions included, with one exception: a billing error reported within seven days.
AiGirlfriends.ai's refund policy sends you to account settings and gives no further steps. It does say to cancel before the renewal date, and that cancelling doesn't return anything already paid [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai refund policy].
Getting money back is mostly off the table. "All payments made to AIGirlfriends.ai are non-refundable", it reads, and a second sentence covers the promotions: discounted, trial and promotional subscriptions are non-refundable "even if unused or canceled prior to expiration". Chargebacks and credit reversals are listed as things AiGirlfriends.ai won't issue either. That weighs more than usual here, because every price on the page is introductory and the yearly plan is the biggest payment you can't walk back.
What does AiGirlfriends.ai actually do?
AiGirlfriends.ai offers text chat, pre-made and generated images, generated video, real-time voice calls and voice messages, a character creator and a daily feed where characters post. AiGirlfriends.ai claims 800+ characters and, on paid plans, draws character, image and video generation from 100 tokens a month. Reviewers who've used it say the chat reads human.
On AiGirlfriends.ai, texts and pre-made images are listed as unlimited. On a paid plan, a new character, image or video draws on the 100 monthly tokens, and that's the budget to watch if you plan to generate a lot. AiGirlfriends.ai also says creating your AI girlfriend is free, without saying how that squares with the tokens.
AiGirlfriends.ai sells its chat as uncensored and adults only, which means sexting as much as small talk, and our guide to uncensored AI chat covers the rest of that category. Reviewers who've used AiGirlfriends.ai mostly agree on the basics: the conversation reads human, and the companion holds on to details from one chat to the next. The most detailed of them says it didn't check memory, voice or media quality. AiGirlfriends.ai lists memory, gifts and a feed where each character posts, and gives no number for how much she remembers, so the memory praise comes from reviewers alone. Most of those reviewers are promotional ones, and the few plain customer reviews are lukewarm: one buyer says the free start sold them, one renewed for a second year, one says it does the job and nothing wowed them. That's where I land too: a decent chat, scored 6.5, with nothing in the record that says better. The homepage counts 17,000+ posts in the feed, again AiGirlfriends.ai's own figure.
AiGirlfriends.ai's creator covers look, voice and interests, and AiGirlfriends.ai says a character takes under sixty seconds to build [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai character creator page]. Outside reviews call the customization deep, and paid plans let you create and manage several profiles.
AiGirlfriends.ai's image generator works from a text prompt or from presets and stays tied to a companion, and reviewers describe both realistic and anime looks. Free accounts get a limited number of trial credits AiGirlfriends.ai doesn't count, and on a paid plan images share 100 tokens with video and characters, which one detailed outside review lists as a drawback. If images are the reason you're here, our guide to uncensored AI image generators covers the apps built around them.
AiGirlfriends.ai pitches video as clips in any outfit, setting or mood, drawn from the same tokens, and reviewers list it among the features. Want video first? aiAllure is one app on our list that puts it there.
AiGirlfriends.ai is loudest about voice. It says each character has her own voice, that calls run in real time, and promises "no robotic delays". Reviewers who've used it call the voices smooth and the calls real time, and calls and voice messages come with every plan, with no minute cap on the subscriptions page. AiGirlfriends.ai's release notes claim speech synthesis in 22 languages, which says nothing about the language of the chat or the interface: the site itself declares English and a German version, nothing else. The same notes announce an iOS app and mention Android 13 and later, and no page links to an App Store or Google Play listing, so plan on the browser. There, one reviewer finds the interface clean, and another finds the pile of features confusing at first.
Is AiGirlfriends.ai legit and safe to use?
AiGirlfriends.ai names its operator, Ai Horizon Inc. of Staten Island, New York, and still falls short on safety: bestgirlfriend.ai scores its privacy and compliance 3.0 out of 10, the lowest of its eight scores. AiGirlfriends.ai gives no registration number, and its pages disagree with each other on encryption, tracking and age control.
No face swap on the feature pages
AiGirlfriends.ai's creator offers look, voice and interests, and its image generator takes text prompts and presets. Neither page has a photo-upload field, a face swap or an undressing feature, and the terms say all content is generated by AI and "does not involve real individuals" [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai terms and conditions, generated content]. The release notes go further than those two pages: they announce an overlay that drops your companion into a photo from your camera roll, listed as an A/B test with the broad rollout pending [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai release notes, voice cloning and photo overlay].
Privacy: the pages contradict each other
AiGirlfriends.ai's homepage promises end-to-end encrypted chats. The terms say user content, card details excepted, may be transmitted in an unencrypted format. The transparency report describes encryption in transit and at rest, then lists end-to-end encryption in its own summary table [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai transparency report]. Three pages, three answers, and AiGirlfriends.ai never says which one governs.
Who reads your chats gets two answers. The character creator page says no member of the team reads them. The underage policy keeps the right to review flagged content by hand [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai underage policy, moderation review]. Both can be true, a filter flags and a person looks, but the first sentence promises more than the second allows.
Deletion and tracking follow the pattern. The same creator page promises account deletion with no retention period, and the release notes describe a seven-day grace period. AiGirlfriends.ai's privacy policy says it runs behavioural analytics with session replay and heatmaps and works with an advertising partner using third-party cookies [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai privacy policy, analytics and advertising], while AiGirlfriends.ai's own transparency report promises "no third-party ad trackers", and its cookie policy names an outside analytics service. The release notes claim a SOC 2 Type I audit, report on request, and a third-party privacy audit whose summary is supposed to sit in the privacy policy. The SOC 2 report isn't public, and the privacy summary isn't where the notes say it is.
| Question | One page says | Another page says |
|---|---|---|
| Encryption | Homepage: end-to-end encrypted chats | Terms: user content, card details excepted, may be transmitted unencrypted. Transparency report: encryption in transit and at rest, with end-to-end in its summary table |
| Who reads your chats | Character creator page: no member of the team | Underage policy: flagged content may be reviewed by hand |
| Deletion | Character creator page: no retention period | Release notes: a seven-day grace period |
| Tracking | Transparency report: no third-party ad trackers | Privacy policy: behavioural analytics with session replay and heatmaps, and an advertising partner using third-party cookies |
Public character pages, and what the age policy describes
AiGirlfriends.ai's character pages are public and open to search engines, and a number of their photo captions are sexually explicit. The HTML served to a visitor who isn't logged in carries no age gate, and the only 18+ marker is in the page's search-engine data. AiGirlfriends.ai's underage policy describes something else: a landing page or age gate at sign-up where users confirm they're over 18 before reaching the main content, and adult content reserved for registered users [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai underage policy, age gate and registered users]. Its transparency report says adult content is "never shown by default". Whatever happens at sign-up, these pages open for anyone who arrives from a search result or a link.
Where the policy does describe a control, it's a declaration: users are prompted to affirm they're over 18, and the payment line says "By continuing, I confirm that I am at least 18 years old". The release notes announce an ID check by an outside vendor in eight regions and point to the legal page for its name. That page names no vendor and no region.
No age on the character cards
No AiGirlfriends.ai character card states an age, and the characters with a student theme carry none either. The one age written anywhere on the character pages is 20, in a single page description. The character creator does ask for an age first, and its lowest choice is 18 to 21 [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai character creator page, age selector].
A usage policy that doesn't name deepfakes
AiGirlfriends.ai's homepage markets the chat as uncensored, and the site runs a category page for uncensored AI chat. The terms and the blocked-content policy still list topics the chat is meant to stop on, among them minors, non-consensual sex, animals and celebrities [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai blocked content policy], and the blocked-content page also bans any content bearing resemblance to minors. None of the policies uses the word deepfake or mentions using a real person's likeness; the closest the blocked-content page comes is its ban on misinformation. The underage policy adds: "You, as a user of the website, are solely responsible for the output generated by the AI companions". Next to that silence, the release notes announce for all paid plans custom voice cloning from a 30-second sample and an "uploader-consent attestation", with watermarked output [Source: AiGirlfriends.ai release notes, voice cloning and photo overlay]. The consent is a statement made by whoever uploads the sample, and the transparency report still says voice interactions "do not simulate real people".
What do other AiGirlfriends.ai reviews say?
Other AiGirlfriends.ai reviews mostly praise the feature list and a human-sounding chat, and several quote $10 a month, one of them with no tiers at all, which isn't how AiGirlfriends.ai's own page sells it. bestgirlfriend.ai found eleven sites that cover AiGirlfriends.ai, with only two editorial scores out of ten, too few to average.
Only a few of those eleven are a full AiGirlfriends AI review, and most weigh very little. Two print an editorial score out of ten, from sites whose independence I can't establish, and an average of two numbers is a coin flip with a decimal point. A directory entry that reads like a review lists AiGirlfriends.ai itself as its author in its own markup, so its score is AiGirlfriends.ai's. One praise-only page links to AiGirlfriends.ai with a campaign tag called "collab" and discloses nothing. The other scores I could check at the source are a single visitor rating and a general-interest blog with no sign of testing, and the rest print no score, or none I could read.
A customer-review site carries a handful of reviews of AiGirlfriends.ai. The three I could read are lukewarm three-star notes, and none of them complains about billing.
The most useful page I found is the one that documents the renewal and the 100-token allowance. It says itself that it's a first look and not a long-term test, and its commission disclosure is behind a footer link, not in the review. That's still more use than the pages quoting ten dollars a month.
AiGirlfriends.ai pays bestgirlfriend.ai a commission. The refund clause and the renewal line are AiGirlfriends.ai's own sentences, which is why I'm comfortable leaning on them: no commission moves a sentence the brand wrote.
Who should sign up for AiGirlfriends.ai, and who shouldn't?
AiGirlfriends.ai suits readers who want a large catalogue, voice calls on every plan and a free start with no card, and who'll begin on the monthly plan. AiGirlfriends.ai doesn't suit readers who need a total they can add up from the public pages before paying, a refund if the product disappoints, or privacy claims that agree with each other.
If you like the idea of a big roster, a character who talks back on a voice call and a start that costs nothing, this is a fair place to begin. Give the free start a few days first: build a character, talk to her, and see how soon the free limits get in your way. If you pay after that, pay for one month. On paper the yearly plan costs least, and the refund policy treats it like every other payment: non-refundable.
Keep the checkout screen. Write the renewal date down somewhere you'll see it. With a no-refund clause, the cancel button is the only protection you have.
| App | Score | Pick it for |
|---|---|---|
| Candy.ai | 8.4 | Image generation |
| OurDream | 8.2 | Memory and group chat |
| Xeve | 6.7 | Prices you can add up before paying |
If price clarity matters to you, Xeve publishes its prices and bills its yearly plan in one payment, about $85 by our count, though it plays its video chat from clips recorded in advance. For image generation, Candy.ai is the review to read first, and OurDream is the one for memory. Our guide on whether AI companions are safe covers the questions a single review can't.
Final scorecard
The weights behind the 5.3. Pricing & Value and Privacy & Compliance, 32% of the weight, rest on what AiGirlfriends.ai publishes about itself: the renewal line, the no-refund policy and pages that contradict each other on privacy. The four usage categories, Conversation Quality, Image Generation, Voice and Video Generation, carry 46% and take what reviewers who've used AiGirlfriends.ai report, weighted by how far each source can be trusted. Most of those sources are promotional and none has an independence I can establish, so no usage score in this AiGirlfriends AI review goes above 6.5. Customization and UX & Mobile, another 22%, rest on what the creator and the site offer and on the same reviewers.
AiGirlfriends.ai, in a sentence: the features of a big platform and the paperwork of a small one. Start free, and keep it to one month until AiGirlfriends.ai puts a total and a refund path in writing.
