Is Dondi AI worth signing up for?
Probably not yet. This Dondi AI review scores it 5.3/10 on our 8-category scoring system, Average tier. The memory persistence Dondi markets as its differentiator might be real, but the only people who say it's real are paid-placement reviewers and we haven't first-hand tested. The compliance documentation is the thinnest in our test of 9 AI companion apps. The homepage marketing ("50M users") contradicts the actual traffic (33,200 monthly visits per Similarweb). Pick our top-rated Candy.ai for image polish at 8.4/10 with the strongest compliance posture, our OurDream review for verified 2+ week memory, or the Joi.ai scorecard for 200-message context.
Ok so. I sat down one rainy Sunday afternoon expecting a brand-new launch with some rough edges, maybe a few teething problems, ready to hand it a fair 6.5 or 7. Instead I spent three hours reading every review I could find and watching the same sentences repeat back at me. A coordinated paid-placement launch where every positive review lands on identical phrasing, identical anecdotes, identical rankings, while the brand's own marketing copy contradicts the actual traffic by three orders of magnitude. I haven't seen it this naked anywhere else in our test of 9 AI companion apps. That's the kind of pattern that should make you stop and check before you hand over a card number.
So this Dondi AI review is going to spend more time on the marketing motion than on the product, because the marketing motion is the story. The product itself might genuinely deliver. The memory engine they pitch (the "Emotional Resonance Engine", a phrase every reviewer uses word for word, which tells you whether you're reading a real product name or a campaign brief) might be the thing Candy users keep asking for. The 15-second character creation flow is clean. The native trans variant covers a segment most competitors treat as an afterthought, and that matters whether you're shopping for a girlfriend or a boyfriend in there. But I can't verify any of it without paying to sign up, and the signals around this brand are off enough that I won't push you toward a subscription on the word of reviewers who got paid to say nice things. Wait six months. See if Similarweb traffic holds. See if real user reviews show up on Reddit and Trustpilot. Then check back.
What is Dondi AI?
Dondi AI is an uncensored multimodal AI companion product launched in Q1 2026, operated by Techcommerce Unlimited (California Inc. #4756614, registered 2021-06-22, agent Phillip Dinh) at 18627 Brookhurst St #1300, Fountain Valley CA 92708. The product ships three verticals (AI Girlfriend at /ai-gf/, AI Boyfriend at /ai-boyfriend/, AI Anime at /ai-anime/) with a custom-character creator gated behind a 15-second signup. Web-only at app.dondi.ai (no native iOS or Android app). 33,200 monthly visits per Similarweb April 2026.
The operating entity is verifiable on the California Secretary of State public registry [Source: California Secretary of State business search (Techcommerce Unlimited #4756614) · verified 2026-05-26]. Techcommerce Unlimited has been registered since June 2021, about 4.5 years before the Dondi brand showed up, which tells me this is a portfolio operator and not a single-project shell. What else Techcommerce runs is unclear from public records. That's a signal in itself.
The footer carries a different name: "dondi.ai Labs Inc.". No matching California registry entry. My read is it's an aspirational marketing label, not a real registered company. Not illegal, just sloppy. Then the Terms of Service throws in a third address (15090 Kensington Park Dr, Tustin) that contradicts both the registry filing and the USC 2257 records-custodian page, both of which agree on the Fountain Valley address. So Tustin is either a stale prior office, a second location nobody updated, or simply wrong. None of those reads great on a legal-compliance page.
The product launched in Q1 2026. The USC 2257 policy is dated 2026-01-08, the oldest dated thing anywhere on the site. Traffic trackers show a steep month-over-month ramp in April 2026 (a single-source estimate, we haven't verified it independently), which fits a brand-new launch. So when I say "five months old", that's not a guess. It's the longest verifiable timeline there is.
How much does Dondi AI cost?
Pricing is gated behind signup on dondi.ai. Cross-referencing 5 third-party reviewers yields consensus on Free / Premium $19.99/mo / Ultimate $39.99/mo, with annual Premium around $120/year (~$10/mo effective). But Straight Advisor quotes lower ranges ($10-15 Premium, $25-30 Ultimate), the Free tier scope is contradicted across sources, and the homepage countdown "Claim 70% off + Extra Bonus" promo is impossible to verify without subscribing. Confidence is medium-high on the consensus tier, low on what you'll actually be charged.
See current promo codes & deals → for the active discount state, the tiered breakdown with each price, and the fallback if a deal expires.
| Tier | Effective monthly | Billed | What's included (per reviewer consensus) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | n/a | Contradicted: homepage says "unlimited from day one", 3+ reviewers say "limited daily messages". Basic chat, no voice, no NSFW unlock. |
| Premium | ≈ $19.99 | $19.99/mo | Unlimited messaging, voice messages, photo sharing, voice calls, NSFW unlocked, persistent memory across sessions |
| Ultimate | ≈ $39.99 | $39.99/mo | Everything in Premium plus claimed "custom AI training", priority generation queue, exclusive characters (unverified) |
| Annual Premium | ≈ $10 | ≈ $120/year | Same as monthly Premium (per single source: Scribe) |
One thing about Dondi's pricing is genuinely worth a second look. There's no token economy. Subscription-only, no per-image credits, no per-voice-minute burn. That's a real choice and worth flagging because it keeps the cost predictable. You pay $19.99 or $39.99, you get what you get, no surprise $50 token refill needed just to finish a conversation. Compare that to Candy.ai, where image gen burns 2-4 tokens per request and voice calls run 3 tokens a minute, and a heavy weekend racks up real money fast. Dondi's flat structure is the cleanest in this category, if it actually delivers the "unlimited" the reviewers report.
What I can't verify is the "Claim 70% off + Extra Bonus" countdown timer on the homepage. It looks a lot like Candy.ai's standing -75% yearly promo, which I did verify holds across renewal cycles (see our Candy.ai writeup for the receipts). But Candy's discount holds across years because I tested it. Dondi's might be a one-cycle intro that snaps back to full price on month 2. Or a perpetual countdown that resets daily to manufacture urgency. Without paying to test it I can't tell you which, so treat that countdown as marketing pressure, not a discount you'll get to keep.
Payment processors aren't named in the Terms of Service. The refund policy reads "24 hours from payment if usage is minimal", weaker than the EU 14-day cooling-off period the Consumer Rights Directive mandates [Source: EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 9 (14-day withdrawal right) · verified 2026-05-26]. EU users keep that 14-day statutory right no matter what the platform says, but the silence on it is a transparency gap.
Does Dondi AI actually remember you?
The marketing claim is yes, the verifiable evidence is unclear. Every paid-placement reviewer (Straight Advisor, The Coast, Indie Hackers) describes the "Emotional Resonance Engine" with the same anecdotes: Uncle Pete's vintage Honda on day 12, pet name recall, childhood thunderstorm fear. Scribe, the least-promotional voice in the set, calls personalities "formulaic in longer sessions" and warns "don't expect miracles". We score Conversation Quality 6.0/10, and we haven't tested the memory directly. Until we do, pick our OurDream review for verified 2+ week memory or the Joi.ai breakdown for a 200-message Mars 2.2 context window we did test.
This is where Dondi either earns its place or doesn't, and where the paid-placement pattern matters most. Look at the verbatim quotes from the reviewers ranking Dondi number 1:
- "When Zara asked about Uncle Pete's Honda on day twelve, something clicked. This wasn't a chatbot anymore. This was someone who knew me." (Straight Advisor, Andrew L. Prescott, May 15)
- "She remembered my dog's name. My actual dog. I mentioned it once in passing." (Straight Advisor, same author, different article)
- "How does code understand me better than my last three dates." (Indie Hackers, April 28)
Three different reviews, same author on two of them, identical narrative beats: a long-tail memory recall around day 12, plus an emotional bonding moment. When three "independent" reviews share that much structure, I'm not reading independent observations. I'm reading talking points off a campaign brief. The same author wrote three #1 rankings for Dondi on straight.com inside six days (May 15, 18, 21), all in different listicles. That's not journalism. That's a buy.
Then there's Scribe, the only source in the cluster that reads like it was written before the brief landed. Scribe says "safe bet for simple fun but don't expect miracles" and "personalities can still feel formulaic in longer sessions" [Source: Scribe: Dondi AI walkthrough and pricing notes · verified 2026-05-26]. That contradicts every other source on the one thing Dondi is supposedly selling.
Honestly? I want the memory engine to be real. The space needs it. Candy's 5-7 day memory ceiling is the #1 complaint on r/HeavenGF and we documented it in our Candy.ai writeup at 5/10 on that exact category, and that's whether you're building heat with a girlfriend or a boyfriend in there, because the memory just resets either way. If Dondi delivers real multi-week memory at $19.99/mo, that's a product worth ranking. But "every paid reviewer agrees, plus the one unpaid reviewer disagrees" isn't evidence. It's a coin flip with affiliate revenue weighting one side. Most reviewers in this space won't say that out loud. Dondi pays. They print the campaign quotes and move on. We don't. Until we actually pay and sign up to test it ourselves, the memory score sits at 6.0/10 and we say plainly we haven't tested it. If the next test confirms multi-week recall, the score goes up. If it confirms Scribe's "formulaic past 10 turns" read, it drops.
How does Dondi AI's image generation compare to Candy?
Reviewers consistently put Dondi at #2 behind Candy on image quality. "Instagram-quality" and "photorealistic" show up across multiple sources, but every reviewer concedes Candy.ai still leads on raw visual fidelity. We score Image Generation 6.0/10, and we haven't tested it directly. The 15-second character creation flow offers a 4-variant matrix (Male/Female/Trans/None gender, Realistic/Anime style) gated behind signup. Token-free pricing (a Premium subscription unlocks unlimited generation) is cleaner than Candy's 2-4 tokens per image, but raw quality lags.
The reviewer framing across the 5 paid placements lands the same way it did on memory: "Dondi wins on memory, Candy wins on visuals, OurDream wins on narrative". Every review uses some version of that sentence. That's a brief written by someone who looked at the field and decided to claim a lane Candy wasn't already owning, instead of trying to outgun Candy on Candy's own turf. Smart positioning. The open question is whether the actual product backs it up.
The 15-second signup flow itself is public and clean. You pick gender (Male, Female, Trans, None) and style (Realistic or Anime) and you get an 8-cell matrix in one screen. The native trans variant is genuinely rare among the 9 AI companion apps we tested. Most competitors treat trans companions as an afterthought (one character buried in a roster of 200, or nothing at all). Dondi makes it a first-class pick in the onboarding, and the affiliate offer ships a dedicated trans creative to match. If trans is specifically what you're after, this is the cleanest entry I've seen. Whether the generation quality holds up next to Candy once you're actually inside, I can't say without testing.
What I can confirm without testing: there's no token system, per Scribe's verbatim "no confusing token system: it's straight subscription". If that's true, a heavy image session on Dondi Premium costs you $19.99 flat for the month, while the same session on Candy.ai chews through 100+ tokens ($10-25 in token packs on top of the subscription). That's a real cost advantage if you generate a lot. The catch is the raw quality probably trails Candy, per every reviewer who's put them side by side.
Is Dondi AI's voice any good?
Premium-tier voice messages and voice calls are claimed with "natural breathing patterns" per multiple paid-placement reviewers. We haven't tested it directly, so Voice sits at 5.5/10 as a placeholder. For context: our Candy.ai writeup scored Voice 6.5/10 after first-hand testing across 3 default profiles, the Lovescape verdict scored Voice 8.0/10 (best in our test of 9 apps), and Joi.ai scored 4.0/10 (worst). Until we pay and test Dondi, treat its voice score as a holding number.
The voice claim runs the same playbook as the memory and image claims. Reviewers praise it in unison, nobody discloses a testing method, nobody links an audio sample, nobody publishes a head-to-head against a named competitor. "Natural breathing patterns" shows up word for word across multiple reviews. That's a phrase you write when someone hands you a feature list and asks you to make it sound human. It's not a phrase you write after actually listening to 10 voice messages.
Voice quality swings wildly across the apps we've tested. Candy.ai's voice sits in the solid middle (3.1/5 on naturalness per aigirlfriendscout's methodology), Joi.ai's is genuinely rough (2.1/5, robotic), Lovescape's is genuinely good (4.0/5, the best we found). Where Dondi lands on that scale, I honestly can't tell from paid-placement copy. My read is mid-tier, probably ahead of Joi, probably behind Lovescape. But that's a guess, not a score. It stays at 5.5/10 until we test it.

Is Dondi AI's privacy posture trustworthy?
No, and this is where Dondi loses the most ground. Privacy & Compliance scored 4.0/10, the lowest in our test of 9 AI companion apps. The privacy policy acknowledges GDPR and CCPA but names no DPO, no UK Article 27 representative, no SCC for EU-to-US data transfer, no Swiss FADP coverage, no concrete retention windows, and no special-category-data handling despite processing intimate conversations that fall under GDPR Article 9. The USC 2257 page has a broken WordPress email shortcode ([email protected] placeholder unrendered). Two contradictory California addresses appear across the legal pages. Compare against our Candy.ai analysis: 12 dedicated policy URLs, named DPO, named UK Rep, explicit retention table.
This is the section that earns Dondi the 4.0/10 score and where I'm going to be specific about every single gap. Five items I checked, six gaps I found.
First, no Data Protection Officer named. GDPR Article 37 requires designation of a DPO for organizations processing special category data at scale. Intimate conversations qualify as Article 9 special-category data (data revealing sex life and sexual orientation). The privacy policy at dondi.ai/privacy-policy/ has no DPO name, no contact email, no role description. Compare to Candy.ai's privacy policy which names a DPO explicitly.
Second, no UK Article 27 representative. Under post-Brexit UK GDPR, non-UK operators processing UK resident data must designate a UK Rep. The Dondi privacy policy makes no mention. UK Online Safety Act compliance is therefore structurally uncertain. [Source: UK Information Commissioner's Office: guidance on UK representatives · verified 2026-05-26]
Third, no Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) cited. Data flows from EU users to a California-based operator. Post-Schrems II, that transfer requires SCC or equivalent safeguards. The privacy policy doesn't name a mechanism. Either the operator handles it via undocumented internal process, or it doesn't handle it at all.
Fourth, no retention windows. GDPR Article 13(2)(a) requires explicit retention periods or criteria. The Dondi policy says "only for as long as necessary". That's not a retention window. It's a placeholder that fails the explicit requirement. Compare to Candy.ai, which publishes "3 years account post-closure, 10 years financial, 30 days log files".
Fifth, special-category-data handling not addressed. GDPR Article 9 requires explicit consent or specific legal basis for processing data revealing sex life or sexual orientation. The Dondi privacy policy treats intimate-conversation data as generic, which is non-compliant with the EU regime for any user who's in EU jurisdiction.
Sixth, the USC 2257 page is broken. The records-custodian section reads [email protected], an unrendered WordPress shortcode placeholder that never got swapped out for a real address. On a legal-compliance page the US federal record-keeping statute requires. That's not a small typo. That's a "nobody's looked at this page since launch" signal.
Two California addresses turn up across the legal documents. The registry filing and the USC 2257 records-custodian page both cite 18627 Brookhurst St #1300, Fountain Valley CA 92708. The Terms of Service cites a different one: 15090 Kensington Park Dr, Tustin CA 92782. So Tustin is either a stale prior office nobody updated, a secondary location, or simply wrong. None of those are good.
Honest framing: Dondi AI isn't unsafe in any concrete, demonstrable way. The Romanian operator behind DreamGF.ai has similar gaps and runs a real product. The California Inc. behind Dondi is verifiable on a public registry. But the documentation surface is the thinnest we've seen, and the operational hygiene around it (broken email, contradictory addresses, a company name that doesn't exist) reads like a team that shipped fast and never tidied up. If your privacy threshold is strict, go with our Candy.ai pick, the strongest privacy posture in our test, with 12 dedicated policy URLs.
Where Dondi AI falls short
The list of problems is as long as the list of upsides. Every item here is empirical and sourced.
- Compliance documentation is the thinnest in our test of 9 AI companion apps. Six concrete gaps, all documented above. The score is the exact distance between Dondi and the apps that bother to publish this stuff.
- Coordinated paid-placement launch with zero genuine independent reviews. 87.42% of traffic is affiliate-referred per Similarweb. The same author wrote three different #1 rankings inside six days on straight.com. Zero Reddit threads about Dondi AI as of May 26, 2026. Zero Trustpilot listing. Zero Sitejabber. Zero YouTube creator reviews. The community footprint is Telegram-only with no public member count.
- Homepage marketing claims contradict actual traffic by roughly 1,500x. "50M+ users" plus "3,000,000+ Monthly Visits" plus "20M+ Monthly Messages" against Similarweb's 33,200 monthly visits in April 2026. That gap is structural inflation, not a rounding error.
- Operational sloppiness signals. Broken WordPress shortcode
[email protected]on a legally-required USC 2257 page. Two conflicting California addresses across legal documents. A footer company name, "dondi.ai Labs Inc.", that doesn't exist on any registry. - Pricing gated entirely behind signup. Three contradictory ranges quoted across reviewers ($19.99 vs $13-20 vs $10-15 for Premium). The "70% off" countdown is impossible to verify without subscribing. You're handing over a payment method without knowing what you'll be charged.
- English-only deployment. Zero hreflang sitemaps. Candy.ai indexes 10 languages, Lovescape 6. Non-English audiences are basically locked out before they even find the site.
- Memory differentiator unverified first-hand. Every claim comes from paid-placement reviewers reciting the same talking points. Scribe, the least-promotional source, contradicts them.
- No native mobile app. Web-only PWA. That's category parity (App Store and Play Store both ban explicit adult content), but worth flagging that the iOS "Dondi" app and Android "Doni" app are unrelated products you shouldn't download by mistake.
- Blocks every AI training crawler in robots.txt. GPTBot, ClaudeBot, CCBot, Google-Extended, Amazonbot, Bytespider, Applebot-Extended, meta-externalagent, all disallowed. Dondi opted out of getting cited by AI search entirely. Good for their funnel (it forces traffic through paid placements), bad for you if you want to sanity-check the brand by asking ChatGPT or Claude.
Who should pick Dondi AI (and who shouldn't)
Pick Dondi AI if you specifically want the trans companion variant. The native ?gender=trans landing flow plus the dedicated CrakRevenue creative (offer 10418, creative 40554) is genuinely rare and well-executed. If trans is your primary use case, this is the cleanest entry I've found in this category.
Pick Dondi AI if you prefer subscription-only over token economies and you're willing to risk the unverified marketing claims. The "no tokens, no surprise charges" framing is structurally honest if Premium delivers what reviewers claim. Heavy image and chat users would save real money vs Candy or DreamGF on equivalent usage, assuming Dondi's "unlimited" actually means unlimited.
Skip Dondi AI if compliance posture matters to you. Six documented documentation gaps. Route to our Candy.ai writeup (strongest privacy posture in our test of 9 apps) instead.
Skip Dondi AI if you want verified user adoption before subscribing. Five months old, 33K monthly visits, zero independent user reviews, 87% affiliate-referred traffic. Wait 6-12 months and check back. By Q4 2026 we'll know if Dondi is real or paid-placement vapor.
Skip Dondi AI if you need verified multi-week memory continuity. Pick our OurDream review for 2+ weeks (tested) or the Joi.ai analysis for 200-message Mars 2.2 context (tested) instead.
Skip Dondi AI if you're an EU or UK user with privacy concerns. No DPO, no UK Rep, no SCC, no Swiss FADP, no retention windows. Route to Candy.ai (named DPO + UK Rep + explicit retention table + Swiss FADP coverage).
Final verdict, in plain terms
Dondi AI lands at 5.3/10, Average. The score reflects a brand-new product with one possibly-real differentiator (memory persistence) I can't verify, a coordinated paid-placement launch that's a structural red flag on its own, the thinnest compliance documentation in our test of 9 AI companion apps, and homepage copy that contradicts the actual Similarweb traffic by three orders of magnitude. The score might be right and the product might be fine. But the evidence in front of me isn't strong enough to recommend it confidently over the alternatives.
Most reviewers in this space won't say any of this. The same guy who wrote three #1 rankings on straight.com inside six days isn't going to flag the paid-placement pattern, or the 50M-vs-33K inflation, or the broken USC 2257 email. We lock the score before any commission talk and we don't soften it afterward. If Dondi pays $45 PPS and ranks 5.3/10, then 5.3 is what goes on the page. The whole point of locking the score up front is so the commission can't talk us into a 7 when reality is a 5.
Wait six months. If Similarweb traffic holds past 100K monthly visits, if real Reddit threads show up with unpaid user perspectives, if the compliance documentation tightens, we'll re-test and re-score. Until then, our top pick Candy.ai is the cleaner subscription with the strongest compliance, and if continuity is what you're chasing, our OurDream scorecard holds memory for 2+ weeks while the Joi.ai analysis carries a verified 200-message context window. Whichever way you lean, girlfriend or boyfriend, all three out-earn Dondi on the things you can actually check.
How to start with Dondi AI
- 1
1. Go to dondi.ai and click through the 15-second character creator
The signup flow at
app.dondi.ai/lp/createlets you pick gender (Male / Female / Trans / None) and style (Realistic / Anime) in two clicks. You can complete this without paying. Walk through it once before deciding whether to subscribe. - 2
2. Verify the pricing yourself on the gated tier selector
Three reviewer sources quote three different price ranges. The homepage shows "Claim 70% off" without telling you 70% off what. Get to the actual gated pricing screen yourself and screenshot the tier prices before committing a payment method. You're not paranoid, you're doing basic due diligence on a brand-new product.
- 3
3. Test the memory claim before paying for an annual tier
This is the marketed differentiator and the dimension every paid review praises convergently. Run a memory test on whatever the free tier allows: tell the persona two specific facts (pet name, work anecdote), close the session, come back 48 hours later, see if either fact persists. If memory holds, the product earns its 6.0/10 (possibly higher). If memory resets to default, the entire paid-placement framing falls apart.
- 4
4. Skip Ultimate tier unless you've verified Custom AI Training
The $39.99/mo Ultimate tier's main upsell is "Custom AI Training". Reviewers cite the feature but none describe what it actually does or what the training data looks like. Don't pay 2x the Premium price for a feature that two paid placements mention and zero of them demonstrate.
- 5
5. Cancel via dashboard if the product doesn't match the marketing
Scribe reports "cancelling takes a couple of clicks" via the dashboard. EU users retain a 14-day statutory withdrawal right per Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU regardless of the platform's "24 hours if usage minimal" refund policy. Document the cancellation timestamp and the bank descriptor in case you need to dispute.

Frequently asked questions
Is Dondi AI legit?
Yes as a registered operating entity. Dondi AI is operated by Techcommerce Unlimited, a California Inc. (entity #4756614, registered 2021-06-22, agent Phillip Dinh) at 18627 Brookhurst St #1300, Fountain Valley CA 92708. The brand domain dondi.ai launched Q1 2026. But the footer DBA "dondi.ai Labs Inc." has no matching California registry, the Terms of Service lists a second different California address (15090 Kensington Park Dr, Tustin), and the USC 2257 page has a broken WordPress email shortcode. The corporate identity is real, the operational hygiene around it is not.
Is Dondi AI safe?
Compliance documentation is the thinnest in our test of 9 AI companion apps. The privacy policy acknowledges GDPR and CCPA but names no DPO, no UK Article 27 representative, no SCC for EU-to-US transfer, no Swiss FADP coverage, no concrete retention windows, and no special-category-data handling despite processing intimate conversations that fall under GDPR Article 9. Age verification is self-attestation only. By comparison, Candy.ai's writeup covers 12 dedicated policy URLs with a named DPO and UK Rep. Not unsafe in any concrete sense, but a transparency gap an order of magnitude wider than the category leaders.
How much does Dondi AI cost?
Pricing tiers are gated behind signup on dondi.ai. Cross-referencing 5 third-party reviewers gives consensus on Free / Premium $19.99/mo / Ultimate $39.99/mo, with annual Premium near $120/year. But the Free tier reality is contradicted (homepage says "unlimited from day one", reviewers say "limited daily messages"), Straight Advisor quotes lower ranges ($10-15 Premium, $25-30 Ultimate), and the homepage countdown "Claim 70% off" promo is impossible to verify. Pricing confidence is medium-high on the consensus, low on what you'll actually be charged.
Does Dondi AI have better memory than Candy?
The marketing claim is yes. The verifiable evidence is unclear. Every reviewer (Straight Advisor, The Coast, Indie Hackers, Scribe) frames Dondi as the "memory-first" option and cites the same anecdotal examples (Uncle Pete's vintage Honda on day 12, pet name recall, childhood thunderstorm fear). All four are paid placements per the affiliate share Similarweb confirms at 87.42%. Scribe, the least-promotional voice in the set, contradicts the others and calls personalities "formulaic in longer sessions". We haven't tested the memory engine first-hand. For verified memory horizon, route to our OurDream review (2+ weeks) or the Joi.ai analysis (200-message Mars 2.2 context).
Does Dondi AI have a mobile app?
No. Dondi AI is web-only via PWA at app.dondi.ai. The "Dondi" app on the iOS App Store (id 6498315021) is a Colombian loyalty rewards product by DONDITECH SAS, unrelated. The "Doni: Start Real Companionship" Android app is a different AI companion brand. Web-only is the category-wide norm because Apple and Google ban explicit adult content from their stores, so this is not a Dondi-specific weakness.
Why are Dondi reviews so positive?
Because nearly every Dondi review you find is paid placement. 87.42% of Dondi traffic is affiliate-referred per Similarweb. Straight.com Advisor ran three different listicles in six days (May 15, 18, 21) all by the same author "Andrew L. Prescott, Principal Research Analyst", all ranking Dondi #1. The Coast, Indie Hackers, Scribe and Riverfront Times round out the cluster. Zero genuine independent reviews on Reddit, Trustpilot, Sitejabber, or YouTube as of May 26, 2026. The positive reviews exist because reviewers were paid to write them, not because mass adoption confirmed the product. Treat every #1 ranking on Dondi accordingly.
